Fort Smith man gets 10 years for sex trafficking
A Fort Smith man was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison this week for conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of a child.
Lance Bradley Williams, 24, aka “Crush,” aka “Lil’ Crush,” was sentenced by Judge Timothy L. Brooks in the U.S. District Court in Fayetteville following a plea agreement Tuesday.
Kenneth Elser, U.S. attorney, announced the sentencing. Williams will also have five years of supervised release and is ordered to pay a $3,600 fine for the crime.
According to court records, on Aug. 27, 2015, a 17-year-old female told the Federal Bureau of Investigation she had run away from home and came in contact with Randall Steward, also of Fort Smith and a co-conspirator of Williams, in June 2015. She stated she worked as a prostitute for Steward out of a Fayetteville hotel and that backpage.com was used to advertise her as a prostitute.
