Renegade Raging Grannies

We need  more people like these grannies out there singing, talking, marching, petitioning, volunteering, legislating and demonstrating to stop abuse.

By sharing our own stories and encouraging others to as well, we start to ignite conversations that can bring the shadowy world of abuse out in the open and get the Nation talking about stopping abuse. Abuse has to come out of the dark and its victims should not be made to feel ashamed or guilty because we as a society are not ready to accept that over half our population have been abused…over half. We need more dialogue and discussions around stopping abuse and changing a societal attitude that abuse is going to happen no matter what therefore, it’s easier to ignore it and shame its victims into silence. Wrong! That mindset is no longer, and never was valid.  Get involved. Be the change. Stop abuse.
