We must do better. Please, each one of us, take a real moment and truly reflect over how. How do we, as a society and as individuals, become better examples of what it is to have compassion and respect for all survivors, especially abused children. A sea change of how we think about abuse needs to happen. This will take all of us working together and demanding better of ourselves and others in action and word.
It only takes a story like this and others we’ve recently posted, to see how far we have to go. Other stories being the fraternity that asked in a survey, ‘Who would you rape?’, or about another teen bullied to death on Facebook, seemingly witnessed by communities of friends and family.
The Stop Abuse Campaign and its partners are raising the discourse and awareness by creating a powerful, member-based, grassroots movement– an incredible team of professionals, individuals and organizations whose collective mission is to stop all abuse and alleviate the suffering. Join the campaign today and take the pledge to stop abuse.
