Ex-youth club worker in Lubbock gets 99 years for sex abuse
LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) — Officials say an ex-worker at the Boys & Girls Club of Lubbock must serve 99 years in prison without chance for parole for sexual abuse of four children.
Charles Chavez was sentenced Tuesday by a judge in Lubbock. The 29-year-old Chavez earlier this month was convicted of continuous sexual abuse of a child.
