BYU student behind bars after telling police he sexually abused young girls
PROVO, Utah – A chemical engineering student at Brigham Young University was arrested again and is facing new charges relating to sexual abuse of minors.
Nicholas Lewis, 25, admitted to the Utah County Sheriff’s Office’s Special Victims Unit that he especially liked to sexually abuse girls between the ages of 5 and 7 because they might not be able to remember what he did to them, according to the UCSO.
“In the interview he also admitted he’s got a pretty serious addiction, not only to pornography, but he is attracted to young juvenile females,” said Jason Randall, supervisor of the Special Victims Unit. “He has a severe problem with being attracted to younger juvenile females, and at one point he mentioned his attraction to a newborn.”
